Invite friends to build with you and earn XP

• ›Choose a place on the map, add your own message, and create a shareable invitation with a picture and QR code.
• ›When a new player joins from your invitation and places pixels in 10 different cells, you earn 10 XP and they earn 5 XP.
• ›Earn another 5 XP if that player returns and builds again on a different day.
• ›Invitation rewards are capped at 100 XP per month, and your progress is shown before you share.

The world updates while you watch

• ›Pixels other builders place now appear straight away — no refreshing to see what changed.
• ›Hover any cell (or tap it on a phone) to see who placed it, and how many times it has been painted over.
• ›New eyedropper tool picks up a color already on the board, so you can match what is next to you instead of guessing hex codes.
• ›Keyboard shortcuts: D draw, E erase, I pick, M move, plus +, − and 0 for zoom.
• ›Zoom in past 2× and a faint grid appears to help you line pixels up.

A smaller world and a palette you can shade with

• ›The board is now 64×64. The old one was four times the area with the same number of builders, so everything you made disappeared into empty space.
• ›The palette went from 12 colors to 32, arranged as light, mid and dark steps of every hue — you can finally shade and shadow instead of drawing flat.
• ›Custom hex colors are off. A shared palette is what keeps a collaborative canvas looking like one piece of art rather than noise.
• ›Still four regions: Frostpeak, Evergreen, Crownlands and Emberfall, now 32×32 each — exactly the size of a battle canvas.

Built for one thumb

• ›Tap a cell to aim, then press Place to commit. Pixels are permanent and cost a cooldown, so a mis-tap should never spend one.
• ›The confirm bar shows the coordinate, who currently holds that pixel, and how long until your next placement.
• ›Pinch to zoom and drag with one finger. Zoom goes up to 12× on touch, so a cell is actually big enough to hit.
• ›The color palette moved inside the canvas — no more scrolling away from the board to change color.
